Healey Meeting Sweden August 2008
Per Gunnar Johansson and his team organised a magnificent event for us and we would like to thank them for their efforts. The committee should be very proud to have put together such a fine event. We met many new Healey owners from around the world and some old friends, venue and climate could not have been nicer and we basked in plus 30 temperatures the whole week.

Day 1 was a concourse display in the pretty town of Halmstad. There were 240 cars from around the world including 40 cars from Australia. The quality of cars was very high. There were many headline Healeys including four 100S cars and headline heritage cars in every model could be seen.
Day 2 we had a fast run to Kosta Boda glass works in a group of eight cars. In the afternoon we came the long way back through winding Swedish roads; driving a Healey on a summer's day does not get much better.
Day 3 saw an assembly of Healey boats on Lalholm river and lots of photo opportunities.
Day 4 was at Falkenberg racetrack where five UK Rawles Championship cars were at the front of a grid of 17. The UK cars led the field all the way over the two races. Two exceptional British drivers dominated the event, Marc Campfield won race 1 and David Grace race 2. David was overall event winner with superb driving and that's a particular pleasure for Rawles as we built the car.
