1962 | Daimler Dart SP250
1962 Daimler Dart SP250 fully restored February 2017. This original RHD car first delivered to Stratstone of London is painted in Alfa Romeo 501 Red with Red hand-stitched leather by our master craftsman and engine to ‘fast road’ specification.
Our leather artisans hand-stitched the interior of the car to the customers exacting requirements. We utilized the finest leather hides to completely retrim all panels in leather, with additional diamond stitching to the transmission tunnel. As a personal touch, monogrammed initials of the owner were added to the dash panel.
The engine was stripped down, chemically cleaned then fully rebuilt to upgraded ‘Fast Road’ specification with a significant increase in power and torque made more accessible through a broader spectrum of the rev-range. The engine is fully balanced, has an uprated camshaft, unleaded conversion and much more.
To increase usability, performance, reliability and comfort we fitted a number of upgrades to boost the dynamic and aesthetic appeal of the car:
- Aluminum lined engine bay
- Mirror boot lid
- Fast road engine
- Rack and Pinion Power Steering
- Ivory Monogrammed Dashboard panel on Ebony Wood
- Mohair Hood
- Leather piped carpet
- Moto-Lita wheel
- Sound deadened interior
- Power outlet
- Drinks Cabinet
